Advantages and disadvantages of graphene epoxy anti-corrosion coating


Graphene epoxy anti-corrosion coating (preparation of graphene by oxidation-reduction method): Graphene powder prepared by oxidation-reduction method is added to epoxy anti-corrosion coating.
(1) Advantages:
-The difficulty of preparing graphene by oxidation-reduction method is relatively low, and the procurement cost is lower than that of physical method.
-Graphene prepared by redox method has multiple surface functions and is easily compatible with carriers or polymers.
(2) Disadvantages
-The production of graphene by oxidation-reduction method uses strong acid, which has a large amount of acid residue and is corrosive to the substrate, making it unsuitable for substrates such as steel structures.
-The surface structure of graphene prepared by oxidation-reduction method is damaged, and its anti-corrosion and mechanical properties are poor
